I heard some of the Things Remembered will do it. But apparently it varies some will some won't. Can't hurt to try. Also a local trophy shop may do it.sbr4141 wrote:Need to get my lower engraved with my NFA trust name. Anyone have any recomendations in the Richmond area?

Again, if you go with one of the mall shops, make sure they can actually meet the depth requirement. That means displacing metal. Not a lot, but more than the usual engraving laser can do (which is none at all).Jakeiscrazy wrote:I heard some of the Things Remembered will do it. But apparently it varies some will some won't. I met JJ Roberts at the Nation's Gun Show, and I'm sure he can engrave your receiver. His website is http://www.angelfire.com/va2/engraver/.
There's also Thierry Duguet in Charlottesville http://www.engraver.net/
I would be very careful about the typical trophy shop or engraver at the mall. They use modern equipment that often lacks the strength and quality to provide precise engraving that is deep enough to take wear and tear.
I've sent clients to Roberts who have come to me for NFA gun trusts
