That is a sick rifle!

Re: My M1A1
How does it compare weight wise to a standard M1A?
Do they make an attachment for the collapsable stock to allow you to get a good cheek weld behind that scope? I had some issues with my M1A (wasn't aware of them till I went to an Appleseed and found my groups weren't always in the same spot - more on that later) until I put a piece/attachment on the stock to allow me to get a repeatable consistent cheek weld. I put a forward mounted scope on my M1 Garand, one of those Ameaga Ranges mounts that allows the use of a long eye relief scope mounted lower/closer to the bore (it replaces the lower handguard on the M1 Garand).
Then the last question is = how does it shoot?

Thanks for the early morning rifle porn
Re: My M1A1
The current buttstock allows for a decent cheek weld but it could be better. I will be getting a higher-end magpul butt stock that has all the adjustable parts such as a adjustable cheek rest. The current stock works great for Eotech and ACOG I have tested both on this rifle.
I just put the scope on it this weekend, tried to zero it today. Was not very successful pretty sure it was just me, did not have alot of time.
As far as how it shoots. I was shooting 2-3" groups at 100 yards while testing the EoTech and ACOG. Should be able to repeat that with the new scope, might need to put it in a bench rest to get rid of the "trigger actuator" problem.
As far as the weight goes. I have given up lifting normal weights. Now I just do rifle PT.
