Appleseed events in VA?

Post by SherKhan »

I've been trying to get started with the Appleseed shooting game, and have both an M1 Garand and a Ruger 10/22 set up for it. But with having to go overseas for work this Spring, followed by a series of medical/surgical problems, I haven't yet been able to do so. I'm hoping to try again this Fall or Spring. Are other VGOF'ers shooting Appleseed events? Any interest in staging them closer to NoVA as well as at current sites? They really look like a lot of fun, low-stress, and with some history included. What do y'all think?

I have been to one and it was great. Very informative and interesting. I went to the one in Buckingham. Here are the upcoming courses in VA. http://appleseedinfo.org/bc_schedule.php

Here's the schedule for the rest of 2011. http://appleseedinfo.org/search-states. ... e=Virginia

I am going to work on getting these added to the VGOF Event Calendar. There seems to be some interest in these events. I'd really like to hear more about them in the future.
