Got my Utah CFP

Post by abraxas »

Thanks, ProShooter! I attended one of your Utah CC classes in Ashland back in June.

It was issued 41 days after my application check was cashed, and showed up in my mailbox 9 days later. I feel like I should take a trip to Georgia to celebrate.

My pleasure! Glad you got it. Not bad timewise considering the recent backlog they've had.

Stay safe, and carry every day.

Getting a Utah non-resident permit adds 4 more states on to what you already have with Va. (Georgia, Alabama, Washington State, Minnesota). That gives you a total of 34 states that you can carry in (soon to be 35 in Nov. with Wisconsin). Since its also accepted here in Va., its a nice back up in case your Va permit expires and you forget to renew. Oh, and the Utah renewals are only $15.

All the cool kids have one!

Thanks ProShooter I thought that might be it. I was going to look into getting one then I found out that the POTUS signed an update to LEOSA which makes me now eligible. I sent off my application last week.
