Ill. likely to see fierce battle over gun control

CHRISTOPHER WILLSCHRISTOPHER WILLS, Associated Press

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — As state after state voted to let residents carry concealed guns, Illinois has held out, for a long list of reasons: A strong gun control movement. A dynasty of powerful Chicago mayors. A line-up of state leaders who oppose expanding access to guns.

Looks like the battle lines are about to be drawn and the troops are forming up. In the words of Joe Biteme "This will be a big F'n Deal" if the NRA and other Pro Gun groups get a win here.

It all rests on the citizens of Illinois and their desire to protect themselves. With the layers of corrupt politicians, unions and other criminals in that state it will take nothing short of a miracle.

Don't forget that although the District of Columbia is not a state, it is a perfect example of how government can just ignore the will of the people as well as the courts if their decisions run contrary to the government's agenda.

It's time for the people of both Illinois and D.C. to gird their loins for battle.

The solution in Ill is quite simple...all of the people wanting to exercise their 2A rights should merely move to another state like VA...problem solved. Let the commie socialist bastards have it...IL is being overran by mexicans anyway. Why would anyone in their right mind want to live their anyway. Soon you'll be forced to give up all of your rights, if you are a gringo, and become a second class citizen...IL is the new CA...
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

I'm steadily trying to convince people who moved to IL from VA, and NC to move back...

They hate it anyway, but did it because of work, and marriage.

With VA being # 1 in business in the U.S., I've been pleading my case...
