05/09/11 - State Forest carry effective date published

First, I want to clarify that both the Roanoke Rifle and Revolver Club match and the Louisa bowling pin match mentioned in today's Update are being held THIS Saturday, May 14th.

Second, the effective date for open and concealed carry in State Forests is July 7th, 2011. I would not encourage you to assume that the new regulation is effective immediately.
