Now VCDL provides some guidance on Tuesday's Democrat primary. There are asking that if you live in certain districts DO NOT VOTE the opencarry.org strategy. More info below along with the affected districts.

In the event that you are considering voting in the Democratic Primary this coming Tuesday and you live in one of the districts below, do NOT do so! Instead, and this is critical, vote in the Republican primary for the VCDL endorsed candidate:

Delegate District 23 (Lynchburg Area) - Republican Primary VCDL Endorses Jeff S. Helgeson. Jeff has been a strong supporter throughout his tenure as a Council Member in the City of Lynchburg.

Delegate District 55 (Hanover County) - Republican Primary VCDL Endorses R. E. ''Rusty'' McGuire. Rusty is a strong supporter of your rights and proudly added to his survey his strong support of Gun Owners.

Also, we have learned that some of you are getting "robo" calls asking that you vote in the Democratic Primary and the call is referring to VCDL.

Those robo calls are NOT coming from VCDL nor the VCDL-PAC!

If any of you have that call recorded on your answering machine, VCDL would very much like to hear the exact message. Please send Philip an email at: president@vcdl.org if you have a copy of it he could hear.
