GRN (Global Recruiters Network) is accepting candidates for several Software Development & Data Systems positions in the greater Pittsburgh area. Common criteria are:

• Perform other similar duties as assigned

• Able to be on call and/or work longer than normal hours with little or no notice, as needed.
• Demonstrates “leadership by example” in projecting a positive attitude.
• A four year degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred
• Relocation cost assistance to the PGH Area is NOT available.

Specific Position Summaries & Requirements:

Data Systems Architect: This position is responsible to develop, maintain, analyze, and support relational database systems throughout the organization, including writing database code, analysis services architecture, and reporting services items. Responsible for documenting and communicating data analysis to stakeholders and supporting technology departments that rely directly on data systems for application functionality.

Minimum 5 years experience with relational database systems.
Minimum 3 years experience with analysis database systems and data warehouses.

Database Administrator: The Database Administrator monitors and analyzes databases and database servers across the company, ensuring maximum uptime, ongoing efficiency, an up-to-date security of database systems. The individual in this role assist IT department staff with database server decisions and planning.

 This position requires at least 5 years of experience supporting a production database environment.
 Must have at least 5 years of SQL expertise.
 Sufficient oral and written communication skills.
 Individual will be required to maintain attention to detail and preserve quality standards.

Software Web Developer: The Software Web Developer is responsible for overseeing the development and architecture of new features associated with the design of system software. The individual in this position is responsible for developing programming languages at a high level.

 Must have at least 3 years of software development experience.
 T-sql and Sql Server 2005/2008, Microsoft, and ASP.Net web development experience required.
 Project management experience preferred.
 Good communication skills required.
 Must have experience working with various software development life cycles.


Sr. Software Engineer:
The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for the design and augmentations of existing and new module features for the in-house software package. The individual in this role is responsible for utilizing communication skills to demonstrate competency in a highly technical environment.

 This is a seasoned position that requires at least 4 years of software development experience.
 Must have at least 4 -5 years of T-sql and Sql Server 2005/2008 and .NET technology experience.
 .NET Certification HIGHLY Desirable, but experience in place of will be considered.
 Good communication and time management skills required.
Individual will be required to maintain attention to detail and preserve quality standards
