reloaders out there? basic Custom rounds?

Post by kanata67 »

it's been since december when I was bored in PA visiting inlaws and I stumbled across this wonderful site searching for who know what. Many questions have been answered by you kind folk and much wisdom passed on.Some might remember me asking for advice on a good 308/ 762x51 because I just happen to have seven 308 silver bullets that were given to me for a gun I don not have "yet". # months of unemployment later I still can't afford the 308 or even the sweet ass local deal on a 28"223 with a 1/2 lb trig BUT...
it occurs to me that there are many reloaders out there. It also occurs to me that I have a weird amount of silver cast offs from an old artist lying around as well as tons of pool boy jewlery in a box. I wonder if somebody out there with skill might be down for a 1-1 trade off of various calibers. I will be honest and say that the more range in calibers the better, as one never knows what round or gun might be handy at the time. What I propose is say I send a 1/2 lb of silver to somebody, they make 2 of every caliber they can comfortably reload, and then send me half. I have little in the way of used brass so it would be my silver for your skill and spent casings. Not sure if this would be of use to anybody as most out there don't feel the need for silver bullets but it's always best to be prepared in my mind. Calibers I know I can use now are 7.62x54, 223, 30.06, 22lr, 9mm, .32, 38special, .40, .45, and others.
anybody who know the proper caliber shotgun for shooting mercury dime loads can chime in as well.

yep... I m normal :hysterical:

Umm, I highly doubt they are silver...probably something like Winchesters Silver Tips (not rifle, but a better picture): http://www.winchester.com/products/rifl ... fault.aspx
