It has been leaked that President Obama is seriously considering the nomination of Diane Wood as the replacement for Justice David Souter who was appointed by President Bush. Wood is cited as being an extreme leftist and ultra-liberal. Recall that the recent Heller decision was passed 5-4. The addition of a liberal judge could indeed be a serious upset to similar cases introduced in the future. Furthermore, Wood believes our Constitution, developed in the 18th century, does not reflect 21st century values. We need to watch this issue closely and be ready to petition our Senators accordingly.

Let us all trust in God and that our Constitution, freedoms, and way of life will prevail.

Using Wood's arguments about the Constitution - Perhaps she wants to re-write the Bible as well since its a couple thousand years old...definitely out of date for the world we live in today, eh?

I really wish liberals would just leave things well enough alone. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Help keep an eye on this and if she gets the nod from Obama, get on the horn to our representatives right away!

We should definitely keep an eye on this,,, Some of his other possibles don't look so good either,, That paranoic Napolitano comes to mind ..... for some reason Obama seems to have forgotten that judges should rule on the laws of this country and keep the "empathy" and other BS out of it,,

Even if she was appointed, she's a judge. They are to enforce the Constitution, not change it! Ugh! People suck! >_<

You are correct in that she can't change it, but she would definitely bring her views and personal agenda to the court. Her rulings would no doubt be a result of her "interpretation" of the Constitution.
