Just puttin' in a plug for Aylors Gun Shop in Victoria Va. Like any small shop, they need your support and have a nice line of firearms, holsters and can order anything you want at a fair price. They will bargain and are there for the long haul. I have bought items from them and recommend them if your in the area.
Also, like to recommend the gun shop in Keysville, Va.... right on main street... Rebel Sporting Goods... If you have never been to any of Bob Moates Gun Shops over the past 40 years... and I cannot imagine anyone in Virginia that does not know who he was... you need to stop in... for the size of his shops... I cannot figure how he got so much stuff in there... I knew Bob for 35 years and his shop on Hull St. and Keysville still have his flavor... the one in Charlotte Courthouse was sold and is no longer in business.
All of these small family owned shops need our support...
I am not tied to any gun shops and only post this for your GI...

I have done business with both Aylor's Gun Shop and Rebel's Sporting goods as well.
I can recommend both.
Good people!

I only live a few miles from Rebel Sporting Goods. I knew Bob for a while when he was alive, he was a good person. Now with that said the prices there are outragous, with the only deal in there being 777 pellets which were about $10 cheaper than Wal Mart . If you are looking for a deal in the area, check out Hall's Farm Supply in Drakes Branch. I have saved anywhere from $50 to $100 after pricing guns at Rebel and buying at Hall's.
Here's an example. My wife wanted a bersa .380. Rebels price was $319.00 NIB. She went else where and paid $239.00 NIB
Only thing I have to say about Aylor's is I have been in there once and everything seemed to be pricey there. But then again Paula did work for Bob.

That's curious, Rebel and Bob's on Hull St. are priced pretty much the same and I have found them pretty competitive price wise. Aylors may be on the high end... I only recommend them due to convenience to the area and they have always treated me pretty good... never bought a gun from Aylors but other stuff is about the same in price. They will deal however, especially if they have it in stock. I have bought guns from about all of the locals... I have gotten deals in most of the shops... just depends on the gun and how hard they are to get. When I had my FFL, many years ago... Walmart and some of the larger box stores were selling guns under my wholesale costs... which is one reason I got out of the gun business.... that, and the fact that it was more of a hobby with me... I ended up wanting to keep what I had in stock and that just don't work!!!
Just threw these two shops out there for your general info...

I'll second that. I've been in Rebel a couple of times. Last time I picked up a Beretta 92FS thinking it might be a steal in Keysville. I put it back real quick. More than a $100 than what I can get one for here in NOVA and that's a shame.Vahunter wrote:I only live a few miles from Rebel Sporting Goods.
