I wanted to share my new case for my 1911. I got it at SHOT, near the end of the show. It's from a company named technoframes, from Italy. I got to talking to the CEO of the company, and found out that his coworker who was supposed to help him break down his booth had come down with food poisoning. I offered to help him, and spent the next 2 hours helping him. It was interesting conversation, and he seems to be very committed to his company and to the gun industry. Anyway, to show his appreciation, I got one of their 1911 cases, as well as a 50 round ammo box, for a hell of a deal. To make it even cooler, he explained to me that the case I have is the last of 3 prototype cases they had made to get the product out in time for the NRA show last year. Their new product is cast aluminum, but this one was made from a solid billet and machined down. I am amazed by the product, and if any of you guys with them super nice 1911's are interested, I couldn't speak any more highly of them. They also do custom cases for any gun you can think of, or if you want to add a badge or commemorative item they can do that as well. I also suggested that he look into mass producing one for a P226, because I could probably think of quite a few guys that may be interested in one. They also make alot of other neat looking cases, check them out.

This first pic is of their demo so you can see what it looks like with a pistol in it. The other slot is for the magazine
The black piece slides into the mazagine well and holds the pistol in place. It also rotates up when you open the case so the pistol can sit vertically. The magnet stand pieces also come out and are used in a variety of different accessories.
