Anti gun Senate

Post by VBshooter »

More tricks from our freind Joe Biden and his band of merry buttholes...Now they want to change century old rules in the Senate to aid themselves in stopping filibusters and other procedural motions that have always been in effect and are an aid in reeling in an overzealous majority when it gets out of hand....

http://www.ammoland.com/2011/01/03/anti ... s-changes/

But on January 5, 2011, at the beginning of the new Congress, Senate Democrats are hatching a plan to decimate long-standing Senate rules in order to remove those protections.

Why is it not surprising that thesee tools are going to try this BS,,,, With the House being in Republican hands and a very good chance the Senate will be soon they are trying to strengthen their position to promote more of their twisted anti American agenda,,,,A visit to GOA's legislative action center will provide the pre written letters to send to our two useless Senators to let em know we're awake......

That's the truth for sure...... We need to continue the house cleaning whenever the opportunity comes and put the losers out the door for good. They continually act as if the rules no longer should apply to them but if the positions were reversed they'd be screaming bloody blue murder that we were killing them./

All those in power do, be they "D's" or "R's", and in about equal numbers. What matters isn't the letter after their name--I don't care if they have a "FROMMARS" after it!--but rather whether or not they're Constitutionalists. Majorities in both parties have used procedural tricks and shenanigans to get their party's bought 'n' paid for agendas through. When the Republican Senate majority were pursuing the so-called "nuclear option" back in 2004-2005, did you all protest then? Regardless of whether you thought the bill was good or bad, did you protest against that shenanigan?

Yeah, but its just the way it is. Human nature, its great when we do it, not cool when done to us. If Japan had dropped a nuke on Dallas, it would to this day be an unimaginable atrocity instead of a "strategic decision".

I see...so personal attacks and ridicule are now OK around here, simply because we might not agree on a political point. That's unfortunate.

I underlined the "FROMMARS" part of your post for a reason. It never was a serious comment.

Well, I'm with T...boot all the R's and D's...let the guys from Mars and the Constitutionalists take the tiller for a while. Hell, a pack of monkeys could most likely do a better job than the bunch we've had for the past few years....I once read that given enough time a room full of monkeys, typewriters, and papers could reproduce a Shakespearian delight...lets see the twits across the river do that!!!
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

I think we should bombard their asses with constant reminders of just why they are there and same old ,same old will not be tolerated,,NEVER,,, Additionally any of that bipartizanship BS is grounds to get booted,,, Screw the Democrats..It;s their turn to shut up and just take the ride..After the last 2 years we don;t need anymore of their "help"
