As a former Marine and at 64 1/2 year's old I would still put on the uniform and defend this country to the death as would my 2 Marine son's. But I sure as hell would not do so for this asswipe president that is leading us into ruin.

I agree with this point of view taken by Ermey. I want to do something about this country being sold down the drain. I want to stop America, my love, from being used as a whore to the world to be used and drained and taken advantage of but atlast-----

I know we served in different services but I'd be first in line to pick up a weapon stand next to you and your boys to defend our homeland. I might need to knock of a few pounds for the old uniform to fit though.

To me it seems they are more interested in keeping their job hen they are doing it. Social security is a little different than a "socialist" entitlement give-away program. Those of us that work "donate" 6.2% every paycheck and your employer donates the same amount. Dont know about the rest of you but DK expects to get part of his money back when he starts drawing that check.

Now, for those that dont contribute and get SS payments then shame on them and even more shame on the system that allows them to do so.

For a real social entitlement program try discussing welfare and food stamps.
