The Brits get it: Socialism doesn't work

I guess Margaret Thatcher was right when she said, "The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money".

Does anyone think that maybe the U.S. will look at this and take the hint?. Neither do I.

With Ol Beanhead in office, NO, He and his coven of buttwipes actually think they're doing the right thing and sadly they have the loafers ,layabouts, and other social parasites urging them on. I do wonder if they actually think they're Gods sometimes the way they ignore the electorate and do as they please..When the tide turns in DC it is gonna take some serious work to return the US to something close to what it was and should be....

It's been like that for at least the last 30 years. Deficits have gotten run up to insane levels over that time, politicians of either major "corporate party" are not listening to Us, The People, and they're lining their own pockets with under-the-table favours. Don't count on the Republicans to be your saviours. Look at what they did to our budget over the last 8 years.

No, the really right answer is to clean house of the members of both the major parties. Do you (and I mean all of you reading this) have the will?

Its a given that neither party has a very good track record and alot of that is because We The People have been sitting on our hands or twiddling our thumbs and letting them get away with it. This started to steamroll the minute PC became a battle cry for both parties. Every little piss ass group out there was suddenly more important than the majority because it gave these fools a legitimate reason to screw the rest of us. But as long as things were hunky dory for most folks they were content to ignore politics as "Eh what are ya gonna do?"
Its going to take more than one election and a lot of perseverence to get the government back to operating as we see fit and not the career politicians of either side. We need people ,not politicians that will do hard things that it will neeed to be done and tell the loafers, dead beats and PC afficianado's to get on board or be left behind.
