I just sent out the first edition of the new VGOF newsletter! I think it looks pretty sharp. What do you think?
All current VGOF members were added to the mail list for the first run. If you are not interested in the newsletter, then please use the Safe Unsubscribe link in the email and you will be promptly removed from the list. But why would you want to do that?!?
The newsletter is automatically tweeted on the @vagunforum twitter account
You can share the email with your friends, family and co-workers.
If you have any feedback, I'm very happy to hear it! Please comment about what you like or don't like about the newsletter. If you have something that you would like to see included in the next issue, let me know!

Looks pretty sharp to me...I like the coupon at the bottom.
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

I like the concept, just don't send out 17 copies of the same email a day. (VGOF's never done that)

I did not get it. My account must be screwed up as each time I bring up the VGOF site I have to log back in even tho I asked to stay logged in.

The server says you got the email. Maybe check your spamchecker / spam box or add 'rick@vgof.net' to your allowed list?SgtBill wrote:I did not get it. My account must be screwed up as each time I bring up the VGOF site I have to log back in even tho I asked to stay logged in.

I just tried resending manually to see if you get it. Subject is "News from VGOF"

If I forward this newsletter to someone that is not a VGOF member, can they subscribe to the mailing list without becoming a member?.

Yes, they can. The newsletter is now totally separate from the forum and will be administered as such.OakRidgeStars wrote:If I forward this newsletter to someone that is not a VGOF member, can they subscribe to the mailing list without becoming a member?.
Forward away!!
Also, folks can check the top left corner of the website, enter their email address and press the "Subscribe" button to subscribe to the list.
