Adjusting Dies - Video Series

Post by CowboyT »

Enough people have asked me, "how do you adjust the dies?" So, time to do something to answer that.

Just posted a three-part video series on my Web site, in the Pro 1000 section. Part 1 is how to adjust dies on a single-stage press. Parts 2 and 3 are how to adjust 'em on a Pro 1000 progressive press. The example die sets are Lee Precision's .38 Special and .44 Special models, which of course also work very well for the respective Magnum rounds. The same basic procedure applies to other standard reloading dies (RCBS, Lyman, etc.).

Have at 'em.

Good stuff T. I tried to watch one of the others a couple of days ago but my browser wouldnt cooperate.

I cried at the part where the crimp came out perfect...(not really but you know me -- the jokester).

Any browser that supports Ogg Theora video (e. g. Firefox 3.5 or later) should do the trick. I'm currently on Firefox 3.6.7.

Might be download speed, i. e. others are streaming it as well. Try saving to your hard disk, then playing it straight from there.

If you keep having issues, let me know, because I need to know about that kind of thing.
