Question about Hogue Boot Grips

Post by TheEqualizer »

I am purchasing a Ruger LCR with Hogue Boot Grips. These grips are "glass filled."

What exactly are "glass filled" grips"

Please don't answer "grips filled with glass"

Thanks,

Andy

Glass filled is nylon reinforced with glass fibers ... Similar to long strand fiberglass...The strands are added to increase strength, durability and in some case heat resistnace..
