VCDL Needs Our Help!

The VCDL 2009 Statewide Candidate Surveys were mailed quite some time
ago to all of the candidates running for statewide office.
http://www.vcdl.org/surveys/survey_2009_statewide.html

(To select their candidates for statewide office, the Republicans are
holding a Convention while the Democrats are holding a Primary.)

All but one of the Republican candidates have responded to the VCDL
survey. None of the Democrats have responded.

What are they hiding? Why are they afraid to publicly take a position
on this important issue? Why don't they want you to know their position?

Failure to return a completed survey frequently indicates indifference,
if not outright hostility, toward the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

Below, I have listed the candidates who have NOT responded to the VCDL
Survey.

Please contact the campaigns of each candidate by BOTH email AND phone
and urge them to answer the VCDL survey. (Where more than one phone
number is provided for a candidate, call the number closest to you.)

Don't accept vague generalizations such as "the candidate supports the
2nd Amendment". Remember, anti-gun zealot Chuck Schumer says he
supports the 2nd Amendment, but his view is that it does NOT apply to you.

Find out what their real positions are by politely and firmly insisting
that they complete the VCDL survey and send it in immediately. If they
have misplaced their survey, have them contact me at vp@vcdl.org and
I'll email them another copy.

Thanks for your help!

I sent all of mine in yesterday and actually heard from Jody Wagner(democrat) Of course his reply was he belives in the 2nd amendment ,beleives VA laws are adequite and just need to be enforced but he did not fill out the survey so I still am on the fence about him or any of the Dems ,,,Seeing that Bonehead Bloomburg (also a democrat) has decided to come here from NY and screw with our Republican candidate over gun control.. Send these emails ..If you go to the VCDL website tou can get the links to the candidates and just do a cut and paste for each.....
