Be particular, and be vigilant, as the enemy will only attack on two occasions:
When you're ready or when you're not ready.

Also never forget, that everyone who shows up, is not necessarily there to help.

You would be surprised at what happens in Loudoun County. They have an alert system that you can set up to email and or text your cell phone with notices like these. Obviously the texts are a lot shorter, but include a link to the full report. You can choose to receive alerts about school closings and weather alerts from the same system. I was notified by text on the May 19th and today's robberies, but I missed the June 5th announcement, so it is not perfect. (nothing ever is) But it is definitely a source of information that can be valuable.

yea, tough to sell in America's "wealthieset" county..but so true, this is not your little ole home grown hick town anymore, nor has it been for a while...

The latest profiled victims are those that are "Berry Unaware" ...people that are burried in their blackberries and wouldn't know if they are about to be run down by a truck or get their wallet taken...you have seen them wandering in crocked lines as they try to read a 14 pages of documents, while staring into a 2" screen...

Situational Awareness People!!
Be...Be ...Be this.... Know...know...KNOW This...Live ...live...live this!

OK, Emergency testing is now complete.

In the event of a real emgergency , no coffee would be served!
