Maryland CWP

Post by Hiwaytahell »

Anyone have one? Wondering what you had to do to obtain it? From what I have read so far it won't be easy for us VA residents. But, I will be doing alot of work in MD for the foreseeable future, and don't want to be unarmed. Don't care what it takes... just wanna be legal. Any thoughts are welcome. Jim...whatcha know?

Don't bother. Last I heard there were 17 total in the state. Knew an ex-officer (who trained other officers as a contractor) who had one.

When I went to school in Baltimore, one of the my classmates ran a charter boat service. This resulted in his carrying 10k or more in cash on a regular basis. He couldn't get a MD permit.

If you poke around on line, you should be able to find the story of an activist/blogger who had multiple, police-documented, credible threats against his life. Last I heard he still hadn't been able to get a permit.

Maryland is little different from NYC.

To start, you'll need a large number of unmarked, non-sequential bills in small denominations, packed in plain envelopes...

Good luck...CHP and MD in the same sentence is almost always used to describe something that wont happen...ever...
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

I heard that if your on a first name basis with God , his kid and some other cronies, Peter ,Paul and that lot, you may be eligible for a CWP in MD, but they'll have to check so don;t hold your breath,
