Air Conditioned indoor ranges?

Anyone know of any air conditioned indoor ranges in the Hampton Roads area?

I usually go to A&P off Lynnhaven, but since it's gotten warmer it is almost unbearable unless you go as soon as they open (10am). I haven't specifically asked them yet if they AC or not, but I'm assuming they don't as it's been pretty hot in there the last few times I've been. After shooting for about 5-10 minutes I have sweat running down my face and into my eyes. Not really fun when shooting

I was thinking the same thing. I went down to Marksmen in Newport News today. But after a few minutes I had sweat rolling into my eyes. That and the heat combined for a pretty miserable time focusing on the target.

Are there any indoor ranges that are air conditioned? None of the ones I've been to in the richmond/hampton roads area are.

I am a member at the Lafayette Gun club. They have an air conditioned indoor range. That being said, I will also tell you that it doesn't help much. It feels good walking in, but once shooting, I find myself still sweating pretty bad.

Bobs gun shop ain't bad, don't think its AC'd but its well ventilated (can be a bad thing, in the last lane it moves the target around quite a bit.)

Its a comfy 75 in Buffalo Ny right now with a cool breeze! That said thats the only thing good here. I have seen snow Oct 2nd -3 feet! freek storm.
I lived in Charlott Nc for 2 years and in Sc for 2 years TOoooooo HOT toooo long. I see NOVA runs about 5-8 degrees cooler than Richmond.
Here In Ny we heat the house and stay indoors nov-april--I figure in VA I will run AC may through sept. and call it a wash and enjoy the rest of the year ,,At least My truck wont rust away from road salt.
Funny thing when I lived in Montana It was 105 degrees on the airport tarmack and I said --Wow it must be 85 -They said No its 105 = No humidity it makes all the difference in the world - My G/F and I went riding the harley in the mountains -It was 91 and we wore leather jackets It was warm But tollerable . at 80 degress in the evening you would wear a sweat shirt if you were setting in the shade.. The humidity makes that much differance...

This is total truth.

I was born and raised here, but I've never adapted to the humidity.
