Best AR 15 dealer in HR?

Post by Quigley »

I am looking to purchase an AR 15 in the Hampton Roads area. Who has the best prices or at least good prices and great customer service? I do most of my dealings with Bobs but they don't have a very large selection and their prices can run on the high side when dealing with long guns.

Stop by The Armory on the corner of Indian River Rd and Kempsville Rd, behind Bruster's Ice Cream.

The nicest folks around AND good prices too

A&P Arms on Mercury Blvd in Hampton has a very big selection of ARs. Prices tend to range from reasonable to a little high, but he has a great selection.

Thanks for the replies Jay and Jerry.
I am familiar with both AP and the Armory. They are fine dealers but the armory seems to have high prices and I have had some bad experiences with A&P.

I've heard that before too, but I've had great service every time I've been there. So until they screw that up, I'll keep checking them out.

They ALL are too expensive here in Va Bch. At the Armory, you have to beg them to get waited on. I have stood to get waited on at A&P for over 30 minutes, and they were not even busy... Just talking to girls. I left. You are much better off looking around for what you want, reading and reading on ar15.com, and then buying online for the best price. These guys locally don't give you anything post sale anyway, heck, they don't give you anything during the sale. haha. Then, transfer your gun at Fish Safari on Lynnhaven ... $15 transfers. Done... go shot it. :pistol:
