First, they allow constitutional carry, now they are going after the Dear Leader's "birth certificate". I'm liking Arizona more and more everyday.

Ariz. House votes to check candidates' citizenship

PHOENIX (AP) — The Arizona House has approved a bill that would require President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate if he hopes to be on the state's ballot for a re-election bid. ...

The House approved the measure on a 31-29 vote, sending it to the Senate.

It would require U.S. presidential candidates who want to appear on the ballot in Arizona to submit documents proving they meet the constitutional requirements to be president.

Supporters say the bill would help settle a controversy over whether Obama was born in the United States.

Opponents say it's a waste of time that makes Arizona mocked by the rest of the country. Obama has released his Hawaii birth certificate proving he's a "natural-born citizen" qualified to be president.

OK - question before the court. Let's say I want to run for President (Plank 1 of the platform reads: "It's in the Constitution."). I was not born in the CONUS or Hawaii, but on a US Naval base in a US Naval hospital (yes! I survived!). I have a State Department birth certificate and a USN Certificate of live birth AND a RPI CLB.

Do I get to play or not?

I would have to assume that you were a Navy Brat and that the Navy Hospital was conciderd U.S.A. soil, but no matter you are an American Citizen and as a side hell I would vote for you.

Government installations overseas are considered US soil....Constitution says natural born to be president. During the 2008 primaries congress held a special session to determine McCains eligibility because he was born in the Canal Zone...
