I would suggest A Competition Sub-Forum and Event Calendar on Home-Page

The Event Calendar is located here: http://vagunforum.net/viewcalendar.php

Anyone can add an event by creating a topic and setting the date in the new topic. I prefer that events including gun shows, competitions, etc (other than Meet and Greets) be added to the appropriate regional forums.

Please feel free to post competitions or any other events that you know about.

is there also a sub category for all this zombie BS? you know, to clear up the RSS feeds?

Thats why all the "BS" stuff keeps getting mysteriously moved to the non gun politics section...

I don't mind a Zombie attack thread here and there. They have entertainment value (the zombie threads, not the zombies). Well, I guess zombies can have entertainment value as well...it's fun to watch them crumble into a pile of rotting flesh after the 00 Buck tears through them.

what kind of impressions do 'zombie discussions' leave visitors with? I mean we should be careful how we present ourselves if we are suppose to be defenders of the second amendment. The administration's campaign to discredit opposition to its agenda is in full swing, we wouldn't want to be misconstrued to be equally as legitimate as a convention of star trekkers would we?......

Careful how we present ourselves? Read some of the posts in the non gun politics section and ask yourself that question again...

Compared to that, a hardcore zombie thread is nothing, at least IMO...
