Another outing with Earl

What range did you visit, what did you shoot, how were you treated, etc. Tell us about your day at the range.

Another outing with Earl

Post by vt800c »

I had about 2 hours between getting off work and before a motorcycle club dinner, so I went back to Sharpshooter's range (http://www.sharpshootersva.com) with a brick of blazer .22lr, my Jiminez JA-22 and The Earl. As I have an annual membership, this trip to the range cost me exactly squat! I had some of my printie targets with me, along with some of those bright orange dots I can put in the center, so I can find something to contrast my sights against.

To make a long story short, there was MUCH :pistol:

I was able to make pretty nice holes at a close range. My sight picture sucks, but it was FUN! I put enough of that Blazer ammo through it that the cylinder felt sticky, and my finger was silver from all the powder residue.

I won't win any prizes for accuracy or points, but after a day at work, NOTHING feels better than cycling a couple of hundred rounds through your favorite toy.

(Edited for typos)
The day they outlaw firearms is the day I become a criminal.
