House Votes 3/9/10

Post by VBshooter »

Yesterday the House passed SB89,SB501 and SB533 unanimously on each one.. Of these SB533 is beneficial to gun owners as it now allows for a OreTenus hearing in the event of a CHP application denial ,unless of course you have violated SB501 which seemed to be too minor for people or gun groups to oppose so an OreTenus won't do you a bit of good.Looks like open carry only for ya in that case.SB501 states an out of state DUI within 3 years of the applicatin will get your permit denied.Thank Ms.Lucas for that . Can;t wait to see what they add to that one next session. SB89 now allows the Commonwealth Attorney to get involved with a persons attempt to restore their gun rights and allows him to make comment making another hoop to jump through. Seems to me the old law was just fine,
