I recently purchased a Glock 23 for concealed carry. The gun came with the new rough textured finish (RTF), which I really like the feel of. However, while carrying (MTAC Comp-Tac IWB on R side) my shirt keeps snagging on the finish of the grip and getting pulled up, revealing the butt of the pistol. This usually happens when I bend over and then stand back up. Fortunately I have not had any issues with people seeing my gun, well atleast none that I am aware of. Although I really like the feel of the grip it might be in my best interest to get a slip on cover for the grip.
What are your recommendations for a solid feeling, non-slip grip for a compact Glock. I have no experience with these and the only name I have heard of before is Hogue. I am sure some of you have far more experience with this type of product and would like to hear your feedback.
Thanks!
p.s. Additionally, with the small amount of warm weather we had I have carried with just a t-shirt and nothing underneath the gun or tucked into my pants, just a shirt over top. This grip is VERY uncomfortable on your skin. Anyone thinking of getting a new Glock should be aware of this.
