Two pro-gun bills advance in Senate

Today the following bills pass out of the Senate Courts of Justice
committee and are headed to the Senate Floor for a vote in a few days:

HB 8, Delegate Carrico, clarifies that a CHP holder can renew through
the mail

HB 8, Delegate Cline, clarifies that a first time CHP applicant has a
right to an ore tenus hearing if denied

-

Tomorrow at 5 PM, the House Militia, Police, and Public Safety
subcommittee #1 will hear several gun bills, including SB 334, Senator
Hanger's restaurant ban repeal bill. We want this bill to pass
committee unchanged.
