This week's Weekly Bullet includes important information about Governor Kaine's
vetoes of important pro-rights legislation passed by the General Assembly. It is
important that every gun owner contact their Delegate and State Senator immediately,
and urge them to overide the vetoes.

Contact Your Delegate and State Senator Today
Governor Kaine decided to verify his anti-rights creds last Friday when he vetoed
all of the significant pro-gun bills that passed the General Assembly. What's worse
- he, or his staff, apparently had no clue what the bulk of the bills actually do.
Now is the time to contact your member of the State Senate and the House of Delegates
and urge them to overturn Kaine's vetoes. All but one of the bills that he vetoed
passed both houses of the General Assembly with veto proof margins. That being said,
Kaine will use the time between now and April 8th to twist arms of the members in
the State Senate to get the votes he needs to sustain the vetoes. Here is what you

11th Annual Crush'n Clays - June 13th
It's hard to believe it's started 11 years ago, but once again the Arlington/Fairfax
Chapter of the IWLA and the Virginia Shooting Sports Association will host the 11th
Annual Crush'n Clays Clay Target Charity Classic on Saturday, June 13th at the Skeet
and Trap Range. Over the last ten years, "Crush'n Clays" has raised more than $196,000
to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Proceeds from the event will help support the St. Jude Children's Medical Research
Hospital, the largest pediatric research facility in America established solely
for the study of catastrophic diseases. The Hospital is non-sectarian and open
to children without regard to race, religion, creed or financial status. More

Helmke: "Maybe We Need to Adopt Mexican Style Gun Control"
Last week, the Brady Campaign held a press conference to announce the release of
a new document titled Exporting Gun Violence: How Our Weak Gun Laws Arms Criminals
in Mexico and America. During the press conference he made the comment "...maybe
we need to adopt Mexican style gun control." Yeah - maybe we should ask the Mexicans
how their gun laws are reducing their crime rate. NRANews.com host Cam Edwards did
a great job of filtering through all of the talking points and distortions to get
at the truth.
