Do you mind if I use that picture as the product image for those grips at AIG Tactical?

Thanks for asking... I got them from AIG Outdoors & Tactical Supply

You are welcome to use that picture if you want. I wish I had a better digital camera.

This serves as my carry gun for the most part. Grips are Mastodon Ivory. Leather is from El Paso. Knife in the photo is a Randall Pathfinder. :)

Here is a series 70 Govt. MDL I picked up from the local Game Warden a few years ago. I added the carved Ivory stocks I had snookered away. :D

You just can't beat the look of a 1911. Almost one hundred years old, and still going strong  8)

Sure do... I carry it in a CrossBreed SuperTuck IWB holster.

That's good to hear. So far the kimber ultra carry 2 is what I'm really leaning towards for my first handgun in a few months.

The only things I'm kinda concerned about it are I've heard the break-in period takes forever and ends up being ~$250 of rounds, and it's going to see a decent amount of range shooting. I've never shot one so I'm not really sure how fun/accurate it is at a range.

The Kimber's are match grade pistols, so you'll have to put 500+ rounds of 230 gr FMJ ammo through it to break it in. Don't even think of calling Kimber about a problem until you've done that first.

As far as fun and accuracy goes, all you need to do is fire one. You'll find out just how good they are. It reminds me of the advertising from Packard automobiles back in the day... "Ask the man that owns one"

Great looking firearms.

well if you endorse it I guess that's something. Looks like I just need to shoot one then see how I feel.

Either way, great looking gun!
