Virginia Gun Owners Guide
I have added a new link in the left menu for the Virginia Gun Owners Guide. I haven't gotten a copy yet, but I have heard that it is a very worthwhile read. If you haven;t picked up a copy yet, please take a moment to grab one. It's about $20 including shipping.

Yes, it's a must read! My copy is from 2006 with a 2007 update. The laws change frequently so when you buy it check to make sure it's the most current edition. This will give you a strong working knowledge of gun laws as they apply to Virginia. The "legalize" is very well explained in plain english. Answers to many of the questions in this and other gun forums are in this book. I picked up my copy at the NRA store but you should be able to find it in most book stores.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you!

The best thing about this book is it breaks the code down into usable sections. You can use the book to flip to the section you're interested in, read the author's commentary and then get the current code from the VA web site. I wasnt a big fan of the last section where the author presented situations and then analyzed them according to code. Some of his analysis I agreed with and some not...
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...
