I don't know where you applied, but it's possible. I've heard of people receiving their's in 10 to 12 days in certain counties.

Mine was 35 days at the Beach, but we're slow around here

Howdy,

Hope they come thru in time for you to do that, but won't it kind of suck not being able to show off your present?

George

After this snow got dumped my hopes are dashed of the local courts doing anything else before Christmas. I imagine they'll be closed for the next 5 days for "snow removal".

Congrats! You could always go to Wally-world and get some of the sticky lamination sheets. They work pretty well without the need for heat.

Merry Christmas!

The first thing I did was hunt for those sticky sheets! Thanks guys, merry Christmas to ya'll too.

Don't forget to look up to the reason for the season while you're opening those presents.

We do. That is one of the services that we plan to offer at gun shows in 2010. Heat sealing a permit is better than those self-adhesive strips in my experience as it lasts a lot longer.

When I got mine, I said you have got to be kidding this piece of paper is the permit. I used some small pieces of self adhesive book covers to "laminate" mine. Holding up good so far after about 1 year.

I went the sticky sheet route, seems to be pretty sturdy. Maybe not "Colt Sturdy" but perhaps more like a Ithaca #49 Sturdy....

I got mine in a week or so ago but won't bother laminating it as it will be void in a matter of days now. (I move to Louisiana February the 1st)
