Taurus PT1911 ALR
Taurus PT1911 ALR
Just got my new Taurus 1911 and I believe I have found one of my favorites. For a gun that has all the features and for the price that it is offered at, it can't be beat. After considering Colt, Kimber and Sig i have realized that Taurus has stepped up and they did their homework. Something to consider when if you are looking around for a 1911.

Hey, that suspiciously looks like a stock picture. We want the real thing man !!!!
But only if:
- You have a digital camera that works
- You have an interface cable for said camera
- You can take a picture of the "alleged" weapon
- You know how to retrieve and post said picture of the "alleged" weapon on this "alleged" forum...
Seriously, very nice "alleged" pistol...

Sorry guys, having trouble uploading pics. As soon as I get it working I will post the "alleged" gun. With the snow coming I should be able to spend more time on it.

Re: Taurus PT1911 ALR
Can anyone recommend a good holster for the Taurus 1911 AR? I have had no luck finding one which will fit over the rail on the bottom of the pistol. Any recommendations?

Blackhawk makes Serpa holsters for the 1911 with a light rail, if you're looking to OC.Marvin wrote:Can anyone recommend a good holster for the Taurus 1911 AR? I have had no luck finding one which will fit over the rail on the bottom of the pistol. Any recommendations?
