I looked up Tim Considine (child star of the 50’s) and saw a blurb about his grandfather killing a former police chief in self defense. Looked it up and found an interesting read.

We always got a kick out of this story.
Wife and I, brother-in-law and his wife used to go to Long Beach New Pike Amusement park in Ca. Went 4-5 times over the course of these dates. It was in about 1966-68 time frame. This guy they determined must have been shot while laying down in a hay loft based on the trajectory of the bullet -- entering about his shoulder and stopping around his hip.
I first caught the story on an evening Crime time show and then looked it up.
