Elizabeth Schultz, who is on the Fairfax County School Board, merely wants to have an armed resource officer or licensed, armed security at Fairfax schools and she wants a comprehensive review of school security measures.

The Board approved her request for the comprehensive review, but her idea on armed security was voted down by everyone else on the Board.

Everyone else.

Why? Because, "fewer guns make us safer."

How's that for repeating a mantra with no idea what it really means for security?

Unbelievable.

I had read that. Then I looked up the phrase, "not suffer fools gladly" to make sure I was using it correctly.
Fairfax County residents should initiate a recall on all but one of their school board members. Anybody too mentally afflicted to realize that hostile force will continue until it tires or, better, friendly force stops it, is too warped of thought processes to make any rational decisions regarding the welfare of children.
