Bucks for bullets LOL!

Post by AlanM »

A Louisville, KY church group is offering $1 per bullet.

That would be about a $450 profit on a brick of .22lr.

Someone has more money than brains.

Sounds like a good way to unload some old ammo, or cheap ammo, so you can freshen your supply.

I'd be willing to bet that the Church that sponsors this silliness operates on bad theology.

Unfortunately they don't have a doctrinal statement on their website to check...

And if I take a literalist stance, they don't even require the case, primer or powder.....

I told him, "I want to pound nails!"
He said, "Best use a hammer instead."

If this were true to the word it would be worth it to go buy a couple wagons of 18¢ 9MM ammo.

I just did the math... I can drive round trip, get a hotel while I'm there, completely replenish my supply and profit $3,600. I may have to take a ride.

I just thought of something... My profits will be even higher because I'll have enough cash to buy in bulk and save even more.

@Ironbear: I didn't even care enough to check their website for a doctrinal statement, lol. But, this ill conceived program just reeks of Lefty-Feelgoodism. And, Lefty-Feelgoodism in Churches tends to come with horribly bad theology.

***************************

I wonder what they intend to do with the ammo? As ill conconceived as this is, I have to wonder if this isn't a part of some asinine plot to arm SJW's. If so, it's a stupid way to do it, but SJW types aren't that bright, to begin with.

I just went and poked through that website; just the home page and about page, though. No mention, at all, of Jesus Christ. I remain suspicious of their theology, lol.

I did note a mention of "Gifts of the SPIRT". Wonder if that was a typo, or some New Age thing. Can't tell, these days.

I think tomorrow there will be some questions answered.

What do you want to bet it was suppose to be 1¢ per bullet or 1$ for a bucket (like the Golden .22 from Remington 1400 pieces).

Oh -- and if you read the source page they have a section commented out that they were giving away a pair of shoes to those students in need...but conditionally.
