Not really. He melts down 255 aluminum cans to get the metal to make an AR-15 lower.
I must admit this guy has much better machine tools than the WW2 era 10" Logan lathe that I learned metal working on, however this shows that trying to ban all guns is total fantasy.

Love it! Machining is one of those hobbies I'd love to get into.
I have to admit I always have mixed when people make lowers to prove that firearms can't be banned. I understand and agree that that's true but when an anti gunner sees this video all they come away with is a determination to make uppers serialized parts also. None the less it makes for a cool video and fun idea!
