Drooling. I was looking at the Ruger in same caliber. Can you post some test results please?

Yes indeed. I'm going to zero it at Elite, and then take it out to a 1,000 yard and see what I can do.

Sent you a PM... we'll see how things shake out.

BTW... got this little cart today. When I go to the range, I have too much stuff to carry most of the time. Figured this would help a lot.

I just left the range. Did a 100 yard zero to hold me over til I can get to a longer distance range.

There are no word to describe how awesome this rifle is. After I got it zeroed, I put the suppressor on it and fired 3 shots back to back... Sub-MOA is an understatement. Half minute group, but 1 bullet almost perfectly went through one of the existing holes.

I'm blown away.

Carol and I finally stopped laughing at the "little yellow wagon".....Looks like it would be great to take a couple of 12 packs to the range ...HA HA. I do agree that anything does help and the few times I went to CSA , I always had to plan on what I thought I needed and what I could do without !

In this picture, I was zeroing the scope at 100 yards. This is a 6" round target with a 1 inch square in the center. You are looking at 3 separate groups.

After I put those groups down, I put the suppressor on it to find the dope for the can. This thing is so accurate that not only is this group of 3 less than 1/2 MOA, but I literally hit the same spot twice. I did a blow-up with arrows to show the 3 holes.

When it comes to the RPR, there really is only one question... how many should I buy.

How many? One. Like the Swiss army, fire one shot and go home (job done) :)
That's my goal, anyway.

I'm also looking at Tikka T3 or if I got lucky, TSR-1. Anyone tried them?

T3's are a popular alternative to the R700's, Reasonably well liked over on snipershide, much less after market support than the R700.

I like the 1moa all day challenge for proving what the Indian/arrow combination can do.

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016 ... -day-long/

short version, shoot 5-5 shot groups on one piece of paper. Average the group size.

I'll have to give that a try this weekend. Though, as you point out, that's going to reflect me... not necessarily the weapon. The RPR performs way better than I may ever be capable.
