Carry at VA Beach Convention Center??

Post by HoosierLife »

I'm licensed to carry in IN and y'all reciprocate. I'm going to see my youngest sisters graduation and am wondering if it's copacetic to carry at the convention center. My sis says there will be metal detectors. I don't usually go anywhere unarmed.

Anybody know what's what? Appreciate the feedback!

I haven't been there in a while for Graduation, but I believe your sister is correct about the metal detectors, also I believe there are signs that say no firearms. I am not sure but I believe it is considered a school function and that is used for the no firearms policy.
