Judge Blocks Trump...AGAIN

Some Liberal activist judge is blocking Trump on the decision to withhold funding from "sanctuary cities".

I guess that the next step is to have the mayors of these cities arrested. I wouldn't even announce it. Just send in whatever the appropriate branch of LEO is, and arrest all these mayors simultaneously. Then, immediately ship them off to a holding facility. They are giving aid and comfort to the enemy, so that sounds like a treason charge, to me.

These judges that give obviously faulty legal interpretations, should be held to account, as well. Given their high standing, and the great responsibility that comes with it, the willful misreading of laws should, perhaps, be punishable by hanging. How many deaths, to you suppose, could have been avoided, had activist judges just done their job?

Why the hell are OUR Federal TAX Dollars in the order of 2 Billion dollars for ONE CITY???? No wonder we spend 3 Trillion a year. For the love of Pete; live within your mean people!

That's a good question, Marc. Indeed, I don't see why any Federal tax dollars are going to any city.

Federal money is for Federal concerns; outside of DC, I don't see any Federal concern in any city. And, as far as DC goes, the need for THAT city is gone.

It's time for Trump to say something like this:

"This is the third time that a partisan lower court judge has attempted to block a legal act of the Executive branch. My executive order is fully supported by both the Constitution and statute. The legal argument in this judge's ruling, like the previous two, is baseless and, frankly, spurious.

I have a deep respect for our judiciary but remember, the three branches of our government are co-equal. There is a tradition of the executive branch acquiescing to these lower court rulings by stopping its action and appealing, up to the Supreme Court if necessary. But it is only a tradition and when tradition defies facts, logic and the law, it is time to break it. So this time I'm going ahead with my entirely legal executive order. Let the judge appeal to the Supreme Court. If the Supreme Court rules against our policy, we'll stop it. But it would be irresponsible for me to make the American people wait for justice merely because some Democrat judge wants to put his party ahead of his country.

As Andrew Jackson famously said, 'The judge has made his ruling. Let him enforce it."

Yes, Bob, that would certainly be nice to hear.

Part of me wonders, though, if Trump isn't waiting for a few groups to overplay their hand. He has shown a great capacity for foresight, so he might up to something. I just hope that, if he is, it's Constitutional, and I hope that it won't set a precedent that could come back to haunt us all.
