When I found out the results of the election I got choked up then excited then giddy as a child on Christmas morning when it sank in what it really means. It is like waking up from an 8 year nightmare in Hell.

Well, I won't say that I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. We've avoided the tragedy of a 3rd Clinton term, which is, of course, a relief.

A message was sent to the Republican elites; well, the message sent through the primaries was confirmed, anyway. This, too, is a good thing.

Considering the Republican hold on Congress, in conjunction with the Trump win, one could imply a message to the Democrat elites, as well. Also good.

However, a bit of uncertainty comes with all of this. It's hard to say how Trump will handle things.

I, however, am optimistic. I expect Trump to put forth an effort to make good on some promises, if for no other reason than his probable desire to seek a second term.

At any rate, the uncertainty of Trump beats the certainty of Mrs. Clinton, any day. Overall, I am happy with the outcome.

I couldn't be happier. While in the minority, I've been on the Trump Train since he announced his candidacy. He beat the Republican establishment handily. He beat the Democrat machine handily (I believe the final tally will be over 300 electoral votes). He beat the corrupt media. I especially love their tears....hahaha. Finally, he beat the most corrupt Clinton machine. I'm so glad that horrible woman is not going to be negotiating for our country, & picking the next supreme court justices.

The real winners last night were the American people. Many are still in shock, & it will take some time for them to realize the positive that has occurred. I've never been so excited about a Presidential candidate in my lifetime. I believe Trump really will put America first ! Which imo, will be a pleasant switch, & desperately needed.

Mom was upset yesterday afternoon, I introduced her to "Animal Planet" because they run a "Too Cute" marathon every election.

I got home, fell asleep, and when I woke up this morning, I had to ask the woman four times, "She lost? Really?"

Finally she showed it to me.

For the first time in a 8 years, the tension from my shoulders released... "I'm not the bad guy anymore"

Ya'll know what I'm feeling. I'm not the villain. All those "coast folks", all those "elites" all those "TAKERS" just got a resounding "F'CKYOU!" from the Small towns, and middle america.

And in that I rejoiced.

It was a great and exciting night for America and it did feel a little like Christmas. I was hoping Trump was going to win VA but , new when NOVA reported it was very unlikely. I guess everybody North of Ashland voted Clinton !

On a more serious note - Hillary didn't lose this election, the political establishment did. Just so happens her face was on it this time. I'm really hoping that Trump surrounds himself with top notch people and then has the good sense to listen to them.

If Trump really can initiate his delivery on his vow to "drain the swamp" by firing about a third of the federal agency bureaucrats, then assuming they left Northern Virginia and went home to hunt a real job, perhaps it would cause an economic depression but a moral and spiritual revival of The Old Dominion.

Clinton got 183,108 more votes in Virginia than Trump did.

In the cluster of counties & cities in Northern Virginia that Hillary won, she got 333,528 more votes than Trump did.

In Fairfax county alone Clinton got 197,332 more votes than Trump.

So, if draining the swamp should cause enough of the swamp dwellers to leave Virginia and return to their home swamp, Virginia would, by my lights at least, be a better place. They have polluted our Commonwealth long enough. Send them back whence they came to earn an honest living.

I was looking at the data in Prince William County. Western part where are mostly whites voted Trump about 55%, southern part where are more Hispanics it was Clinton by a large margin: 65-75%.
