would you do it piece-meal, or bulk?
We were talking about estates, and I think piece-meal is best if you've the time, and no financial needs.

Re: If you were to sell your firearms...
Unless a person had some kind of unified collection, that made sense as a group, I can't really imagine most people buying bulk unless they felt they were getting a really good deal. Personally, I might buy a collection, containing firearms I didn't want, to get some I did, but I would shoot for a bargain, understanding that that I was buying the problem of disposing of the ones I didn't want.
My grandfather said, "Always use your head!".
I told him, "I want to pound nails!"
He said, "Best use a hammer instead."

Re: If you were to sell your firearms...
I have a Trust that holds all of my weapons. Even in death, I don't see why all the weapons would be sold all at once. At least today, anyway. Unless you are selling a matched set, you will make a lot more selling them one at a time.
At one point, I needed to get all my guns out of the home due to a dispute with the property owner. So I did put a whole bunch up for sale at that time.
