It's not just SWVA, or WV. That problem extends out into eastern KY, down into northern GA and AL. I'll bet there are plenty of white folks all over the country that aren't nearly as well off as he thinks they are. People working two jobs, or more, trying to make ends meet. Trying to feed their families and keep a roof over their heads.

Consider all the homeless people (including many military veterans) living on the street.

You gotta understand this guy never held a steady job till he went into politics when he was about 40 years old. He's probably never worked a hard job or worked with folks who live paycheck to paycheck. He got by somehow - lived with his folks???

All you need to know is he's a liberal/socialist so his head's already misfiring.

And smacking him wouldn't do much good. He wouldn't understand why he got smacked. Those folks believe they can say what ever stupid (they don't think it's stupid) BS pops out of their mouth - but we can't. Only they, the liberals/progressive/democrats can say what they "feel". For the rest of us speaking up with our beliefs is "white privilege, racism, etc., etc.
