I really want an MP5 and MPX. I had the 22LR version of the MP5 and it was freakin' awesome! The 9mm has to be great. I have to make sure these get added to the inventory this year.

not quite right on the mp5 price. Right if you want it built, but...

If you just want SBR and no sear (full auto option), you can get a POF, or other recent import for about $1500-$1800. Made on HK built/licensed machinery.

I didn't realize that they could be acquired at those prices. Most of the ones I saw were around $9k and auto. I saw some for about $5k, but needed a ton of work. That's way I stayed away from them and the mac10/mac11 platform. I even saw Uzi 9mm going for $15k and almost choked. When I was a kid, I could get them for a few hundred bucks.

Once I settle my pending lawsuit, I may have to see if I can recruit you as a shopping buddy.

Gawd that must have been in the way way way back machine... like the 1990's

Back as recently as 10 years a go a NIB mac11 could be had for about $3k. These days $7k.

I really agree with the video that even though its been 50 years, the MP5 still really hasn't been bested. Smoothest running sub gun I've ever fired. And if the mp5 is the best platform, then the 10mm is the best of the best.

Yea... MP5's I was looking at were about 1 year ago. The MAC's I have been seeing, even now, are $4,500 for one needing a rebuild and $7k+ for one that's already done... including parts to slow the cyclic rate down.

Like I said, I need a shopping buddy. Must not be looking at reputable dealers or I just don't know what I am looking at. I have zero practical experience in a successful purchase.
