Shootout in Gun-Free Zone - Huh?

Post by MarcSpaz »

Chicago T-Mobile store is robbed by two armed suspects. They are both stopped because they were shot by an armed employee.

At 24 seconds into the video, what do they show??? You guessed it! I sign that says "No concealed weapons allowed on this property". Since Chi-town doesn't allow OC, that makes this a shootout in a gun-free zone.

Makes my head spin just trying to imagine the mess inside the person's head who thought these signs would actually be a good idea.

Poor employee will be fired no doubt.

I'm sure. I wouldn't be shocked.

This happened at an independent T-Mobile dealer location, not a company store. The last I heard was that the owner of the store had no plans to terminate the employee.

Would be amusing if the store owner put up those signs and said his reason was to surprise the bad guys so they can't be sure where the good guys are....

But more likely his insurance company made him do it.
