Re: ammo ammo ammo
Given that WalMart is now cooperating and supporting Bloomberg's Mayors Against Guns group, I refuse to shop there for anything.

Walmart FairLakes = sparse ammo of any caliber tonight at 2030hrs; plenty of shot-shells (word of caution - Dick's is running one of the "you have to do the math... " sales; Walmart is still cheaper).
To the MAIG and Walmart link...
a. may be best to move to another thread.
b. the bottom 5 of the 10 principle/agreements - only affect employees.
c. the first 5; could cause some issues - but as a private business Walmart does have the right to create policies that are "more" stringent than current law (cannot be less than current law). I see this as more "BS" that makes the anti's feel "warm and fuzzy" in their misguided belief that someone like me (law-abiding citizen) gives a rat's a$$ about being photographed, etc - as much as my picture/video is taken on a daily basis.
d. what I found "interesting" and disturbing is that MAIG and Walmart seemed to imply that they would be "policing" this in some way (reporting of registration/serial numbers, etc) of firearms - and possibly preventing future purchases, etc... if found to have been used in a crime...? do these guys come out in the sunlight, or just hang-around during full-moons and nightfall....?

Well, looks like I'm taking my business elsewhere too. I dont care for those 10 points. Its one more encroachment on our rights and even refuses to do what is allowed by law. I dont shop there much anyway and havent bought a gun from a walmart in over a decade.tursiops wrote:http://www.mayorsagainstillegalguns.org ... 7-08.shtmlzephyp wrote:Interesting. Another poll that supposedly says "most Americans favor their nonsense of hiding gun control in disguise of safety, Disturbing that Wally's will preempt laws with no sale on default proceeds...
A new national poll conducted jointly by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research and The Tarrance Group and released last week found that Americans overwhelmingly support measures like those included in the Responsible Firearms Retailer Partnership. For example, 91 percent of Americans favor requiring gun stores to do background checks on employees. According to the poll, 93 percent of gun owners said being video taped in a store while purchasing firearms would make no difference to them or would make them more likely to purchase a firearm from that retailer.
