NRA Article - best I've read!

Post by wittmeba »

In the August Issue of American Hunter I just read the best article explaining the Constitution, Bill of Rights and Second Amendment ever.

It is titled, "When Bureaucrats Make "Sport" of Fundamental Liberties - Congress Must Act" ~ by Chris W. Cox.

It really puts the words to the music. It provides good sound reasoning for the BoR and Second Amendment, defines "the Militia", explains arms, etc as we need to know it.

Here is the article online:

A Concealed Weapon Permit is nothing more than a permit to allow a LAC to wear a jacket.

I read American Rifleman from cover to cover and then follow up with the links to a lot of the articles they don't print. This one was one of the better Constitutional law pieces they've done. Actually right to the point without the "they're coming to take our guns so you better send more money to us" hysteria that many of their "columns" consist of.
