Email to FoxNews

Post by AlanM »

Some here on the forum may be aware that I, due to the fact that I watch/listen to FoxNews every morning, from time to time email them to point out gun related facts or errors with respect to a current story.

Here's my latest email (just minutes ago)
Subject: Comment by New Jersey report about the Ali Muhammad Brown arrest.
Date: Tue, 4 Aug 2015 09:47:42 -0400
From: REDACTED
To: newsmanager@foxnews.com

While appearing on FoxNews a few minutes ago the reporter in New Jersey
made a statement that Brown was also charged with possession of hollow
point bullets.
It would be nice if your national reporters pointed out that the only
place where hollow points are illegal for use outside of the home or a
range is New Jersey.
Hollow point bullets are used by law enforcement officers and many, if
not most, people who legally carry a firearm for personal protection
because they do not pass through the intended target and injure an
innocent person behind that target.

Respectfully,
Alan M
I wonder if they will report this fact.

I think it's great that you try to keep them straight, but it might be a lost cause. In any case, be sure to include this with every email.

You never know, it might help them.

Even if your fact is not incorporated into the story a seed has been planted.

OH, I've sent other emails and even got an email back from Steve Doocy when I emailed them about him calling a semi-auto a "revolver".

I try NOT to insult or belittle them, just try to point out facts or opinions that aren't true nationally.

Lmao - this thread reminds me of a reporter (Blitzer???) I saw during the first Gulf War. He was ducking & crying about "oh my God, there's shelling.......". Reality was it was patriot batteries launching @ scuds (easy to see on TV).

Um, ah, numbnuts.......maybe you should learn the difference between inbound & outbound before you go to a theater of war. :hysterical:

One person's outbound... is often another person's inbound.

As a journalist, maybe there was some confusion over which side he was supposed to "impartially" sympathize with...

He said, "Best use a hammer instead."

:hysterical: Got me there, I forgot thier impartiiality. Whichever side he was on they're weren't inbound on him - lol

It is rather comical these days watching the news. It seems half the time you hear the story & think "that doesn't even make sense, there must be more" & sure enough a google search turns up the whole story.

Saw a similar report on HLN this morning with that floozie Robin Meade. She was reporting on Ted Cruz "cooking" bacon by wrapping it around the barrel of his "machine-gun" and then firing it. Problem is, it wasn't a machine-gun, it was a standard, run-of-the-mill, semi-automatic AR style rifle.

The stupidity of the MSM defies belief.

Back in January Carol and I decided we were watching way to much News. Since we only watch Fox News we still limit our News intake. I do watch F&F First @ 5am and The Five ! Even though Fox does have a few that are "Firearm Stupid" , there are several that have quite a bit of knowledge ! I did see Cruz cooking bacon witch was pretty Cool .
