ACTION ALERT! SUPPORT ONE OF VCDL’S VERY OWN THIS NOVEMBER 3RD!

File this under, "Local boy makes good!" VCDL-PAC ENDORSES long time VCDL Executive Member BOB MARCELLUS for standing as a pro Second Amendment choice for the Board of Supervisors in Powhatan County!

BOB MARCELLUS is a dedicated, LONG serving, and highly valued member of VCDL. Over the years, he has lobbied at the General Assembly, was an instigator of VCDL’s successful National Parks petition personally securing letters of support to Congress and the National Parks Service from leading Virginia elected officials, secured key vote commitments that ultimately helped repeal the much despised ‘gun ban’ in restaurants that sell alcohol, he EVEN sponsored the airplane and banner that flew over VCDL’s 2009 pro 2nd Amendment protest of the Cantor/Cobb/Republican Round-Up at Innsbrook Pavilion when the Republican 7th District Committee insisted on holding “open” political events in a gun-free zone.

BOB MARCELLUS knows what principles are. There he was, in 2009, a member of the very same local Republican committee, choosing to tell fellow Republicans he had to stand with gun owners on the other side of the street and protest their lack of commitment to their own stated principles. Today, BOB is still a proud, principled Republican and gun owner, and Cantor, Cobb, and the gun-free Republican Round-up are GONE!
He stood openly for us in the face of personal pressure that would have caused many to just quietly not show up.

Now, BOB is stepping up to run for the Powhatan Board of Supervisors. As part of his campaign, he has ALREADY proposed aggressive pro-Second Amendment initiatives to completely ELIMINATE fees for concealed handgun permits, and cut wait times to SAME DAY turn around. He ALREADY has key people on board who can make this happen, it is just a matter of getting him into office. Can you say "DOMINO EFFECT" for your county? *FREE
PERMITS!*

BOB SUPPORTS implementing legislation based on Kennesaw, Georgia's ordinance in which it is every law-abiding citizen's DUTY to own a gun for home defense! Implementation of which caused a dramatic and sustained drop in crime rates for Kennesaw.

A legal "duty" to defend yourself and your family. It RESETS the mindset to "opt-out," as opposed to "opt-in."

Since Virginia is a Dillon Rule state, BOB’s vote in Powhatan is needed to ask for formal permission from the General Assembly for a ‘local option’ bill to implement a "Kennesaw Home Defense” ordinance.

BOB MARCELLUS IS a QUANTUM LEAP for advancing the right to bear arms for Virginians. A VCDL member setting the trend for the state.

BOB not only needs funds, he needs VOLUNTEERS!

BOB has been there for us, let’s be with him now. ELECT ONE OF OUR VERY OWN!

ACTION ITEM #1: VCDL-PAC will be scheduling a "2nd Amendment walk for Bob" day in Powhatan in August and October (TBA) VCDL-PAC wants to have BOB’s two precincts swarming with supporters knocking on doors wearing our orange ‘Guns Save Lives’ and we want his two polling stations fully staffed from 6am to 7pm on election day November 3rd. Can you please give the Right to Bear Arms and BOB 1 hour of your time on each of these three days?

WANT you to give to the VCDL-PAC this time. I want you to give to one
of our OWN. I want him to collect LOTS of contributions from WE THE
PEOPLE! If you can, DONATE at least the cost of ONE box of ammo and
